Meet Pastor Joel Shirk

Pastor Joel Shirk serves as Campus Pastor of Motion Church Wallingford. His passion is to help people experience the nearness of God through worship, biblical teaching, and authentic Christian community.

As Psalm 73 reminds us, "The nearness of God is our good."

That truth shapes both his ministry and his desire to help others encounter God's presence through worship and God's Word.

Joel and his wife, Jackie, live in Cheshire, where they raised their three adult children. He believes that a grace-filled life, a healthy soul, and simple acts of kindness are worth pursuing every day.
